Kristen and Logan, or "Krogan" as many of their close friends call them, met in February of 2014.  While Kristen was finishing her last semester of the MSW program at UMKC and studying for her LMSW boards, Logan was working at McFaddens and studying for his PTA boards.  Neither had the time or interest to date anyone, but they couldn't deny that there was something special about the other.  Fast forward six months once Krogan was both settled into their careers, Logan reached out to Kristen on Facebook.  They had their first date on August 19, 2014 at Ra Sushi in Overland Park, where Kristen lived at the time.  The first date was, as you probably know, incredibly awkward.  Kristen did not feel that well but really liked Logan, so she couldn't bring herself to cancel the date.  Kristen loves her food, but could only manage to eat two bites of sushi, while Logan put down two orders.  After dinner, Krogan visited at Kristen's apartment.  Logan couldn't stop himself from sharing every picture of his adorable niece, Addilyn Renee, and nephew, Jakob Mark, while Kristen was showing off pictures of her and all her closest girlfriends.  They knew they were falling for each other, but their first kiss sealed the deal.  They spent every night for the next week together, where Logan impressed Kristen with his cooking skills.  Logan was pleased to see that Kristen really did have an appetite after the awkward first date where she couldn't eat much.  A guy who loves to cook and a girl who loves to eat, it was a match made in heaven!  Three weeks after their first date, Logan asked Kristen to be his girlfriend and just a couple weeks after that, they said "I love you" for the first time.  After many fun adventures to Omaha for Kristen's birthday, CaliMo to meet Kristen's family, and Ringsted, IA to meet Logan's family, surprises at the Nutcracker, Royals games, game nights, cooking brunch together, sushi dates (including making their own), walks, and fixing up their new house, Krogan had fallen deeply in love.  Nine months after their first date, on May 19, 2015, Logan popped the question, and Krogan was finally engaged!
